To form one logical switch following Aruba switch models support stacking 2930M, 2930F, 3810M, 5400R, CX6200, CX6300, CX6400, CX8000.
Aruba has following stacking methods
1. Dedicated backplane stacking – called “fabric stacking”
2. Frontplane stacking – Virtual Switching Framework (VSF)
3. Independent control plane – Virtual Switching Extension (VSX).
Switches 2930M and 3810M supports fabric stacking and
2930F, 5400R, CX6200 and CX6300 supports VSF.
VSX is supported on CX6400 and CX8000 switches.
